The second episode of our brand series gives you some background information about Lena's childhood as well as her big dream to start a fashion label.
Lena grew up in a little town in the middle of nowhere near Leuven in Belgium, with her parents and older sister. They travelled a lot as a family and that’s how her love for other countries and cultures grew and how she started to pay more attention on how people were dressed differently.
Her mom was always good at working with her hands like sewing, stitching, knitting and making jewellery. Seeing her mom being creative was always very inspiring for Lena.
When Lena was around 14 year, she went to a fashion academy during summer to design her first own clothes. It was more a way to express yourself and be creative than really learning how to design. It made her realise once again how much she loved fashion and design.
